Oral pathology and implantology

As stated by the World Health Organization, oral health is essential to general health and quality of life. The Oral pathology and implantology Research Area of the Center for Advanced Technology gathers together researchers and physician working on biomaterials, oral implantology and orthopedics, as well as dental surgeons, to improve prevention and treatments of oral pathologies and dysfunctions, with a specific interest in oral prosthesis.

The research area in Oral pathology and implantology is made up of 7 research groups: implantology and implant-prosthesis; periodontology; dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics; gnathology and pediatric dentistry; endodontics, aesthetics and restorative dentistry; digital dentistry; prevention and oral hygiene.
