Andrea Giuseppe Faraci (Андреа Джузеппе Фарачи)

Dr. Andrea Giuseppe Faraci is a dermatologist and dermatosurgeon at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, and Smart Clinic Pieve Fissiraga.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo in 2011 and completed his specialization in Dermatology at the University of Milan in 2021, also with honors. During his specialization, he was awarded the Dr. Grazia Drago Memorial Prize as the best young dermatologist of the university's Dermatology Clinic.

Since 2018, Dr. Faraci has been a member of the Italian Society of Medical, Surgical, Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (SIDeMaST).

Since 2022, he has been a consulting dermatologist at the Dermatology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.

His main areas of interest include:

• Mole mapping and oncologic dermatology (early diagnosis of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, actinic keratosis, and other skin cancers)
• Dermatologic surgery (removal of dysplastic nevi, melanomas, basal cell carcinomas, actinic keratoses, and other skin cancers, as well as cysts and lipomas)
• Laser dermatology and aesthetics: aesthetic removal of benign skin lesions (seborrheic keratosis, fibromatous nevi, fibrous polyps, angiomas, warts, condylomas) and pre-tumoral lesions (actinic keratoses, superficial basal cell carcinomas), photo-rejuvenation for the face and body, treatment of skin spots, stretch marks, warts and condylomas, acne scars, actinic keratoses, capillaries, rosacea, and telangiectasias
• Treatment of acne and alopecia (trichology)
• Clinical dermatology (diagnosis and treatment of urticaria, psoriasis, dermatitis-eczema, rosacea, and rare dermatological diseases)
