Filippo Russo (Филиппо Руссо)

Dr. Filippo Russo is a cardiologist at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele and Smart Clinic.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2005 from the University of Pavia, where he later also specialized in Cardiology, with honors, in 2009.

Since 2019, he has been collaborating with the San Donato Group as an Interventional Cardiologist at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, where he continues to work. His focus is on diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, serving as the primary operator in coronary interventions, including highly complex cases.

His scientific research focuses on interventional cardiology, and he regularly presents at major international congresses. In 2010, he won the “Prix Romeo” award for the best poster presentation at the national congress in Genoa.

Dr. Russo has authored and co-authored over 40 scientific publications in leading international and national journals, including Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of American Medical Association, EuroIntervention, International Journal of Cardiology, and Journal of American College of Cardiology. He is also a speaker at prominent national and international Cardiology Congresses.
