Pina Brianti (Пина Брианти)

Dr. Pina Brianti is a dermatologist at the Clinical Dermatology and Cosmetology Unit directed by Professor Santo Raffaele Mercuri.

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina in 2008, she completed her specialization in dermatology at the same university in 2014.

Dr. Brianti specializes in psoriasis, diagnosis and treatment of skin tumors, and both surgical and aesthetic lasers. She is also an author and contributor to scientific articles published in major impact and indexed journals.

Her clinical work includes significant experience in biological therapies for treating chronic inflammatory diseases, videodermatoscopic examinations, monitoring melanocytic lesions, skin tumors, precancerous conditions, and inflammatory skin diseases.

Dr. Brianti applies various laser treatments, including Photodynamic Therapy, CO2 laser, KTP laser, Q-switch laser, Dual-Fraxel laser, Picolaser, and Dye-Laser.

Throughout her training, she gained comprehensive expertise in areas such as Patch testing, prick testing, UVB phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, dermocosmetic screening (sebometry, pHmetry, corneometry, TEWL), capillaroscopy, sexually transmitted diseases, cutaneous viral infections, allergic and occupational dermatology, pediatric dermatology, psoriasis and treatment with biologics, and adverse drug reactions on the skin.

Her research has focused on the latest developments in dermatological therapies, particularly biological treatments and predictive screening models for various inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, and chronic urticaria.

In recent years, she has refined and developed innovative laser techniques for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC).
