Silvia Riberto (Сильвия Риберто)

Dr. Silvia Riberto is a psychologist at INCO - National Institute for the Treatment of Obesity at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio. She also works at Palazzo della Salute Wellness Clinic and Smart Clinic Orio Center.

She earned her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Bicocca in Milan in 2006. In 2008, she completed a specialization in Hospital Psychology at the University of Parma. In 2018, she obtained the Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-ED) and the Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obesity (CBT-OB).

Dr. Riberto has furthered her training in hospital psychology and completed a master's program focused on the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders and obesity.

She conducts psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery eligibility through clinical interviews and testing.

Dr. Riberto provides post-operative follow-up psychological consultations and psychological support to bariatric surgery patients. She offers psychological therapy in dietary counseling and addresses eating disorders and obesity. She supports patients during weight loss journeys through counseling and psychological assistance. In addition to her outpatient work, she participates in a multidisciplinary team. She also conducts individual and couples counseling sessions for those undergoing assisted reproductive technology. Lastly, she follows patients with significant and/or chronic illnesses and those experiencing distress related to their life or relational contexts.
