Dr. Agostino Cirullo is an orthopedic surgeon at the Spinal Surgery Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio and also collaborates with Palazzo della Salute - Wellness Clinic.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Siena in 2015 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan in 2021.
During his specialist training, he worked at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, where he deepened his interest in Spinal Surgery. In 2020, he completed a Fellowship at the Spine Unit Vertebra - Institut Européen du Dos in Bordeaux, France, under the guidance of Prof. Jean Charles Le Huec.
Dr. Cirullo primarily focuses on the conservative and surgical treatment of degenerative spinal conditions (such as spondylolisthesis, discopathy, and disc herniation, as well as canal stenosis) and spinal deformities (such as idiopathic scoliosis in adolescents and adults), with a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques.
He is involved in scientific research on spinal pathology and spinal biomechanics. A member of major scientific societies in the field, including AOSpine and the European Spine Society, he has participated in both national and international courses and conferences.
