Dario Esposito (Дарио Эспозито)

Dr. Dario Esposito is a consulting physician in digestive endoscopy at the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, led by Professor Silvio Danese. He is also a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology Unit of Policlinico San Marco in Zingonia.

He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2007 from the University of Naples Federico II, where he later specialized in General Surgery in 2014 and obtained a Ph.D. in Advanced Medical-Surgical Therapies in 2017.

Dr. Esposito has always focused on gastrointestinal neoplasms, both clinically during his specialization and through research during his doctorate. His work is particularly dedicated to Digestive Endoscopy, with a focus on minimally invasive diagnoses and treatments of neoplastic and functional diseases, as well as post-surgical complications of the digestive system. His specific interest lies in treating conditions of the esophagus, stomach, and colon, including digestive tract polyps (adenomas, early-stage carcinomas), achalasia, gastroparesis, and gastroesophageal reflux.

In research, Dr. Esposito has concentrated on advanced diagnoses and therapies, with particular emphasis on new techniques (POEM, GPOEM, submucosal dissections of difficult polyps, Vac-Therapy) and innovative diagnostic technologies such as artificial intelligence applied to digestive endoscopy.

He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in specialized scientific journals and actively participates in national and international conferences.
