Patrizia Giollo (Патриция Джолло)

Dr. Patrizia Giollo is a gastroenterologist at the Functional Unit of Digestive Physiology within the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Silvio Danese.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1999, she specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2004.

Dr. Giollo performs general gastroenterology consultations, with a particular focus on functional bowel disorders such as constipation, diarrhea, and irritable bowel syndrome. She also works in the Esophageal Diseases and Dyspepsia Clinic.

Additionally, she conducts anorectal manometry exams, pelvic floor rehabilitation (biofeedback) for evacuation disorders such as fecal incontinence and obstructed defecation, and consultations in the multidisciplinary pelvic floor and food allergy-intolerance clinics.

Her research activities are carried out in collaboration with the Digestive Physiology Department.
