Dr. Riccardo Giorgino is an Orthopedic Surgeon and Traumatologist with the University Team of Regenerative and Reconstructive Orthopedics (E.U.O.R.R.) at IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio Hospital. He also practices at the San Siro Clinical Institute.  

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 from the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, Dr. Giorgino completed a prestigious Postdoc Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA, where he conducted groundbreaking studies in regenerative medicine, cartilage repair, and ligament injury treatment. He later earned his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology with honors at the University of Milan.  

Dr. Giorgino focuses on innovative techniques for hip and knee prosthetics using minimally invasive methods. Additionally, he specializes in regenerative medicine in orthopedics, including the use of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and cellular therapies.  

His research activity is characterized by a strong commitment to scientific innovation, with over 60 publications in international journals, including high-impact articles in the fields of regenerative medicine, orthopedics, and traumatology. His contributions include studies on innovative cartilage repair techniques, the use of stem cells, new methodologies in orthopedic surgery, and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. His academic metrics, including a significant H-index, highlight the relevance and impact of his published work.  

Dr. Giorgino is also actively involved in scientific dissemination, serving as a speaker at prestigious national and international conferences and participating as a co-investigator in clinical and preclinical research projects aimed at fostering innovation and continuously improving medical practices.
