Dr. Silvia Sirotti is a rheumatologist at the Rheumatology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.
She earned her degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2017 from the University of Milan, where she also completed her specialization in Rheumatology in 2022. In 2021, she achieved Level 1 (Advanced) of the EULAR Competency Assessment in MSUS, qualifying her to perform comprehensive musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations in rheumatology.
Dr. Sirotti focuses on managing patients with inflammatory and degenerative arthropathies, with particular attention to the application of musculoskeletal ultrasound in clinical practice for early diagnosis, proper patient follow-up, and ultrasound-guided therapeutic procedures.
She has been actively involved in clinical research on musculoskeletal ultrasound and microcrystalline arthropathies, such as gout and calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease (CPPD). She is a member of several national and international study groups on these topics and has been a fellow of the international OMERACT Ultrasound in CPPD research group since 2020.
Dr. Sirotti is the author of several publications in high-impact journals and has presented posters and oral communications at national and international conferences.
