Биография

Dr. Stefania Guida is a dermatologist in the Clinical Dermatology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele and Ospedale San Raffaele Turro.

In 2009, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bari "Aldo Moro," where she also specialized in Dermatology and Venereology in 2015. In 2019, she earned a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine from the Dermatology Unit of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Dr. Guida is a Type B Researcher in Dermatology and teaches at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University for the degree courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and the MD program. She serves as a consultant dermatologist at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele and Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, with specific experience in non-invasive dermatological diagnostics, mole mapping, confocal laser microscopy, oncological dermatology, dermatosurgery, inflammatory skin diseases, and trichology.

For over 10 years, Dr. Guida has conducted research and clinical practice in non-invasive diagnostics, ranging from dermoscopy and mole mapping to confocal laser microscopy for ambiguous lesions. She has also applied these methods to develop innovative knowledge in the diagnosis of photoaging and its non-invasive treatment, supported by an extensive network of international collaborations.

Dr. Guida has 108 publications (Scopus), an H-index of 17 (Scopus), an H-index of 19 (Google Scholar), three book chapters, and over 100 presentations at national and international conferences, along with posters.

She is currently an executive member of the International Dermoscopy Society, serving as co-leader of the super-high magnification dermoscopy task force. Within the Italian Society of Dermatology (SIDeMaST), she is a member of the Supporting Committee for Communication and is responsible for coordinating relations between SIDeMaST and IMCAS.

Additionally, Dr. Guida is part of the MSKIP group (Melanocortin-1 receptor (MC1R) gene, skin cancer, and phenotypic characteristics) and a member of the International Dermoscopy Society (IDS) task force on Imaging in Medical Aesthetics.
