His areas of interest include:

  • Clinical Area: myocarditis, genetic and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies, cardiac involvement in systemic autoimmune diseases, rare diseases, sudden cardiac death, athlete's heart, COVID-19, heart failure, ischemic and infarction-related heart disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension, cardiovascular prevention.

  • Interventional Area: ablation of cardiac arrhythmias; diagnostic endomyocardial biopsies; electrophysiological studies and electroanatomic mapping; implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders; other invasive arrhythmological procedures.

He is a researcher in clinical and translational medicine for the International MD Program at Vita-Salute University of San Raffaele in Milan, focusing on studies related to:

  • Myocarditis
  • Genetic cardiomyopathies
  • Arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies
  • Pediatric and athlete cardiomyopathies
  • Ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death
  • Multimodal cardiovascular imaging
  • Multidisciplinary approaches to heart diseases
