Biografía

Dr. Michele Colombo is Deputy Chief and Head of the Ultrasound Unit at the Radiology Department of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Francesco De Cobelli. He is also a contract lecturer at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele for the medical degree program and the residency program in Radiodiagnostics.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery with top honors from Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, he completed his specialization in Radiodiagnostics at the same university with distinction, participating in national and international conferences.

Dr. Colombo has contributed to various scientific studies, focusing mainly on the role of ultrasound in evaluating sarcopenia and guiding the ablation of hepatic and renal tumors under ultrasound and CT guidance.

Following a broad training in general radiology, including emergency radiology, breast imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and angiography, Dr. Colombo specialized in ultrasound, for which he currently holds responsibility.

He is the author and co-author of several publications in scientific journals and book chapters.

Dr. Colombo consistently participates in national and international conferences in his field.
