Matteo Marullo, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon, currently carries out his professional activity at the Joint Replacement Department, Director Sergio Romagnoli, MD, at Galeazzi Orthopaedic Research Hospital in Milan.
He graduated cum laude in Medicine from the University of Pavia and, again in Pavia, he obtained the specialization in Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
He began his orthopaedic activity mainly dealing with sports traumatology. This interest led him in 2012 to the Service de Chirurgie Orthopédique et Traumatologie of the Center Hospitalier Universitaire de la Basse terre, Guadeloupe (Fr), and then in 2013 in Lyon (France) where he deepened his knowledge on the pathologies of the knee working with Professor David Dejour at the Lyon Ortho-Clinic.
In 2014 he won the DJO-SIGASCOT European Traveling Fellowship in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
He is a EKA (European Knee Associates) member of the ESSKA.
He is author of 46 publications in national and international journals or books and has spoken at over 70 national and international conferences.
He mainly deals with minimally invasive prosthetic surgery of the knee and hip; meniscal, ligament and cartilage surgery of the knee in arthroscopy; patellar instability surgery.back to the search
