Over 100 procedures of hepatobiliary surgery performed as main surgeon and over 900 as assistant, with a specific commitment in liver malignancies (colorectal metastases, hepatocellular carcinoma, intra- and extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma) and in minimally invasive techniques (over 50% of procedures performed by laparoscopic approach).
Over 240 scientific papers (including 59 full text articles) with the following flagship topics: clinical and oncological outcome of liver malignancies, minimally invasive liver surgery, ALPPS approach, fast-track protocol, surgery of perihilar cholangiocarcinoma.
Member of scientific societies (Società Italiana Chirurgia- Italian Society of Surgery, Società Polispecialistica Italiana Giovani Chirurghi- Italian Polispecialistic Society of Young Surgeons, Società Lombarda Chirurgia- Lombardy Surgery Society, I Go MILS). Board member of the Società Polispecialistica Italiana Giovani Chirurghi from July 2015 (as HPB national coordinator first and as board counsellor later). Secretary of the I Go MILS (Italian Group of Minimally Invasive Liver Surgery) Association.
