Biographie
Dr. Andrea Balla is a general surgeon in the Colorectal Surgery Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome in 2011, where he also specialized in General Surgery in 2018. In 2021, he obtained a Ph.D. in Surgical Pathophysiology from the same university, followed by a Level II Master's Degree in Oncologic Digestive Surgery from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2022.

Dr. Balla specializes in minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) surgery for colorectal diseases. In the field of minimally invasive surgery and new surgical technologies, he has authored over 130 scientific publications in high-impact journals.
