Биография
Dr. Giuseppe Dell’Anna is a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. He also collaborates with the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato and with the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Service at Policlinico San Marco in Zingonia.
In 2018, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Vita Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, where he also completed his specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in 2023.
Dr. Dell’Anna performs both diagnostic and operative endoscopic procedures on the upper and lower digestive tracts, pancreas, and bile ducts, both electively and in emergency situations. He also conducts outpatient visits for various gastroenterological issues. The diseases he treats include gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal achalasia, dyspepsia, chronic gastritis, Helicobacter pylori infection, gastroparesis, celiac disease, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, colon polyps, hemorrhoids, diverticular disease, acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cystic lesions, and biliary tract diseases.
His scientific research focuses on digestive endoscopy, including luminal and biliary-pancreatic endoscopy. He has a particular interest in endoscopic polyp removal techniques, diagnostic and operative (echo)endoscopy of the biliary-pancreatic system, and benign and malignant biliary-pancreatic diseases.
Dr. Dell’Anna is the author and co-author of 22 scientific articles published in specialized journals. He actively participates in national and international conferences, where he has frequently presented scientific papers and received several awards for their quality.
He is a member of various scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SIED), European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and Italian Society of Gastroenterology (SIGE).
