Biografie
Dr. Ernestina Politi is the head of the General Acute Psychiatry, Eating Disorders and Anxiety Rehabilitation Units, and the MAC Psychiatry Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele Turro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1994 and specialized in Psychiatry at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2005. In 2008, she earned a PhD in Criminology from LUDES University in Lugano and, in 2022, completed a second-level Master's degree in Psychoneuroendocrinoimmunology at the University of L'Aquila.
Since the beginning of her career, Dr. Politi has worked in the psychiatric wards of Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, focusing primarily on General Acute Psychiatry and Rehabilitation. She has served as a Technical Consultant for the Juvenile Court of Milan and concluded her career as an Honorary Judge. She has always focused on adolescent psychopathology.
Dr. Politi has conducted research at San Raffaele Turro, contributing to numerous university theses on anxiety disorders, addiction, and currently inflammation with a PNEI approach, as well as functional magnetic resonance studies and eating behavior disorders.
