Eustaquio Maria Onorato

Professor Eustaquio Maria Onorato is a cardiologist in the Interventional Cardiology Unit at the IRCCS Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio Hospital in Milan.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Milan in 1977 and from the University of Zulia, Maracaibo (Venezuela) in 1980. He later specialized in Cardiology at the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas, in 1984. In 1986, he obtained a master’s degree in Pediatric Cardiology from the Central University of Venezuela and further specialized in Radiology at the University of Siena in 1994.

Professor Onorato is a Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology for Structural and Congenital Heart Diseases, focusing on clinical and instrumental evaluations of major heart conditions, utilizing advanced imaging techniques.

Since 2002, he has served as a Scientific Consultant, Proctor, and Trainer in numerous Interventional Cardiology centers across Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, Kazakhstan, Japan, and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela). From 2005 to 2022, he was an Invited Guest Faculty Member at prestigious events like Euro-PCR, TCT, PICS, SOLACI, TCT Russia, CSI, CSI Asia-Pacific, and CSI-US. He is also an Honorary Member of the Venezuelan Society of Invasive Cardiology and the Russian Scientific Society of Interventional Radiology & Endovascular Surgery.

Since 2020, he has been a Professor at Bashkir State Medical University, Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Science, Bashkortostan Republic, Ufa.

He has authored over 150 manuscripts and 10 book chapters published in scientific journals. He is a member of numerous Italian and international scientific societies and actively participates in national and international congresses. He has been a "Lecturer, Moderator, Discussant, and Live Case Operator" at more than 500 international conferences, congresses, and seminars.
