Giuseppe Isgrò
Biografie
Dr. Giuseppe Isgrò is an anesthesiologist and intensivist, responsible for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Adult Congenital Cardiac Patient Unit at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1994. He began his specialization in 1995 at Policlinico San Donato, where he developed significant expertise in cardiac anesthesia and intensive care. In 1999, he obtained his specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Pain Therapy from the University of Milan.
Dr. Isgrò has held visiting positions at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston (Prof. J. Coselli - 1999) and UCSF Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care in San Francisco (Prof. Ian Adatia - 2008).
Since 2009, he has been responsible for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Adult Congenital Cardiac Patient Unit at Policlinico San Donato.
His work primarily involves providing intensive support for children and adults with congenital heart disease, both preoperative and postoperative, or stabilizing clinical conditions without a surgical program.
