Dr. Alessandro Galluzzo is an orthopedic surgeon in the Knee Surgery II and Arthroscopic Surgery Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio.
After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2017, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same institution in 2023.
During his specialization, he focused on prosthetic and revision surgery of the hip and knee, as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. He then attended the OrthoCa Orthopaedic Center in Antwerp, Belgium, to further study anterior hip prosthesis techniques and hip arthroscopy.
Dr. Galluzzo deals with degenerative and traumatic conditions of the hip, knee, and shoulder, with particular attention to conservative and regenerative methods, and possible prosthetic and revision solutions.
He is interested in orthopedic research, specifically in biomedical engineering and the potential modeling approaches for musculoskeletal systems and their clinical applications, with 5 publications in indexed journals.
He actively participates in national and international conferences in the field.
