Angelo Ratti

Dr. Angelo Ratti is an Assistant Cardiologist at the University Cardiology Unit of the IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio Hospital and practices as a cardiologist at the Smart Clinic Bicocca.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2017 and specialized with honors in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2023 at the same institution. He then completed a fellowship at Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio Hospital under the guidance of Prof. Daniele Andreini, followed by another fellowship at the Heart Centrum OLV in Aalst (Belgium), where he acquired advanced expertise in cardiac imaging, myocardium and pericardium diseases, non-invasive assessment of coronary atherosclerosis, valvular disease, and intra-procedural guidance for interventional cardiology procedures.
Dr. Ratti specializes in clinical cardiology and advanced multimodal cardiac imaging. The techniques he applies include:
- 2D/3D transthoracic echocardiography at rest and stress
- Transesophageal echocardiography
- Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging
- Coronary CT
He is the co-author of several scientific publications and serves as a review editor for *Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine*.
Dr. Ratti is a member of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), the ESC Working Group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases, the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC), and the SIC Sports Cardiology Study Group.
He regularly participates in national and international conferences in the field.
