Francesco Amendola

Dr. Francesco Amendola is a plastic surgeon at the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Unit of Policlinico San Pietro and the Post-Bariatric Plastic Surgery Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2016 and later specialized in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the University of Milan in 2023, achieving top marks.

During his studies, Dr. Amendola expanded his surgical knowledge through experiences in specialized clinics and hospitals abroad, mainly in France, the United States, and Taiwan. These international training periods focused on acquiring skills in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, lymphatic vessel surgery, and aesthetic surgery, with a particular emphasis on facial aesthetic surgery and facelift techniques.

He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles published in national and international journals and co-author of a book by the Italian Society of Microsurgery on the management of complex lower limb trauma.
