Giulia Orsi

Dr. Giulia Orsi is an oncologist at the Department of Clinical Oncology of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, directed by Professor Stefano Cascinu.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, she specialized in Medical Oncology at the same university in 2019, developing a particular interest in neoplasms of the gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary-pancreatic tract. In 2018, during her specialization, she completed a two-month preclinical research internship on pancreatic cancer at the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UIC in Chicago (USA).
Since 2021, she has been enrolled in an International PhD Program in Molecular Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, focusing on a research project related to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
Dr. Orsi's clinical activities are primarily directed towards the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
Her clinical and translational research focuses on studying clinical, nutritional, and molecular aspects, as well as new potential therapeutic approaches for pancreatic adenocarcinoma, both in early and advanced stages.
