In particular, since 2007 she has been dedicated to the minimally invasive robotic approach for treatment of early and locally advanced lung cancer, mediastinal tumors and myasthenia.
Professor Veronesi teaches robotic thoracic surgery in various Italian and foreign centers including Barcelona, Pamplona, Geneva, Rome, Cuneo, Terni, Pescara and Catania.
Professor Veronesi coordinates several international studies, including a multicentre randomized trial which compars robotic and videothoracoscopic surgery for treatment of lung cancer.
