Marianna Volpe

Dr. Marianna Volpe is the Head of the Cardiological Rehabilitation Unit at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan.
In 2004, she graduates in Medicine and Surgery from the Second University of Naples. In 2010, she obtains specialization with honors in Cardiology at the same University.
During her specialization, she has a period of fellowship in the Department of Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Policlinico San Donato, where she acquires diagnostic and treatment skills in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease. She focuses on clinical cardiology conducting the activity in the Department of Cardiac Surgery and the Emergency Department since 2010, always at the Policlinico San Donato, acquiring expertise in the management of various cardiological pathologies both in emergency and ordinary hospitalization ward, with the use of non-invasive diagnostic methods, such as ergometric testing, trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiogram. She has particular interest in the management of the patient in the pre- and post-operative phases, up to the realization of the rehabilitation path with the development of cardiological exercises.
Since 2015, Dr. Volpe is a member of SICOA (Italian Society of Accredited Cardiology Hospitals, It. Società Italiana Cardiologia Ospedalità Accreditata).
She participates as a speaker in numerous national congresses.
