Roberto De Pamphilis

Dr. Roberto De Pamphilis is the head of the Shoulder Surgery Section within the Orthopedics and Traumatology Operating Unit I at the Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza and an orthopedic specialist at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

He graduated from the University of Naples in 1988 with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and in 1993 he received his residency in orthopedics and traumatology from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome.

In 1991, he won the title of Assistant Physician, with tenure and full-time appointment, in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Morelli Hospital in Sondalo (SO).

From 1991 to 1997, he was a lecturer in orthopedics and traumatology at the Sondalo Hospital Rehabilitation Therapist School (SO).

In 1997, he joined the Italian Sports Medical Federation (f.m.s.i.) of the Italy National Olympic Committe, where he is to this day an orthopedic collaborator and aggregate member, and the Federal Medical Commission (Medical Commission) of the Italian national team speed sector (short track) - Italian Ice Sports Federation (f.i.s.g.)

From 1999 to 2010, he was the head of the S.O.S. of Knee And Arthroscopic Surgery at the Hospital Company of Valtellina E Valchiavenna - Sondalo (SO).

From 2011 to 2012, he was a tenured orthopedic medical director at Carate Brianza and Giussano hospitals of the Desio and Vimercate Hospital Company of Monza and Brianza.

In 2013, he worked as a freelancer at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza.

He also has some activities at Casa di Cura La Madonnina and Jmedical Medical Center - Allianz Stadium - Turin.

Throughout his career, Dr. De Pamphilis has perfected his knowledge in shoulder and knee surgery through courses and internships at highly specialized international centers.

Professional training activities and skills upgrading abroad include those carried out at the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine and Bioengineering Department (USA) with Prof F.Fu, J.J. Irrgang, S.Woo (1992), Hospital for Special Surgery in New-York (USA) with Prof R.F. Warren and Prof T.Sculco (1998), the Clinique Hartmann in Paris (FR) with Prof P.Cartier (2008), European Centre for Knee Research - Leuven University Hospital (BE) with Dr J. D'Anvers (2009), Faculty de Médecine de Dijon: "Mise à jour en chirurgie de prothèse d'épaule" with Prof E.Baulot, Dr M. Gonzalvez (2013).

He delved into shoulder and knee surgery techniques focusing on degenerative, traumatic, and ligamentous pathologies.

He is an expert in prosthetic surgery (knee, shoulder and hip), sports trauma, regenerative medicine applied to orthopedics (PRP - Platelet-Rich Plasma, adipose and bone marrow mesenchymal cells, prolotherapy, ultrasound-guided infiltration of hyaluronic acid and growth factors).

He has been a speaker at numerous conferences both in Italy and abroad and participated in the organization of courses of great international significance (1991 - 1993 - 1995) at the hospital in Bormio and Sondalo.

He has several publications in journals of national and international relevance, topics of specialized orthopedic interest especially in the field of knee and shoulder surgery and sports traumatology to his credit.
