Cristina Ogliari

Biography

Dr. Cristina Ogliari is a Gastroenterologist at Istituto Clinico San Siro and IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1997 and specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in 2002, as well as Liver and Metabolic Diseases in 2006, at the University of Milan.

In 2022, she obtained a Level II Master's Degree in Digestive Pathophysiology from the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.

She conducts outpatient activities, performing gastroenterological consultations and digestive pathophysiology tests, including high-resolution esophageal manometry and 24-hour esophageal pH-impedance monitoring.

Her areas of focus include:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux
  • Achalasia
  • Constipation
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Gastroenterological involvement in autoimmune diseases
  • Pre- and post-surgical evaluations for patients undergoing gastroenterological and bariatric surgery.

She actively collaborates as a consultant with the Italian Association for the Fight Against Scleroderma (AILS).

She is a member of GISMAD (Italian Group for the Study of Digestive System Motility) and AIGO (Italian Association of Hospital Gastroenterologists and Digestive Endoscopists).

Dr. Ogliari is the author of articles published in national and international journals and is a speaker at national and international conferences.
