Marcella Callea

Marcella Callea is a pathology consultant in the Anatomic Pathology Unit of the Division of Experimental Oncology at San Raffaele Scientific Institute of Milan.

In 2009, Dr. Callea graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Brescia and she specialized in Anatomic Pathology in 2015 at Campus Bio-Medico University (Rome).

From 2013 to 2014 she had experience, as research fellow, in Translational Genitourinary Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School), Boston, MA (USA).

In 2017 and 2018 she also spent few months at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) as visiting clinician in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology for training in neuropathology diagnostics.

Actually she deals with neuropathology focusing on brian tumour and she is involved in scientific research relating to brain pathology.
