Dr. Carlo Corrado Bonifacini is an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon at the Orthopedic Clinic Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio. He also works at Palazzo della Salute - Wellness Clinic.
He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2010 from the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and specialized, also with honors, in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2016 at the University of Milan. After obtaining the recognition of his title as an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon in the Swiss Confederation, he developed his interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery through a Fellowship at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich and the Rummelsberg Hospital in Nuremberg.
Dr. Bonifacini's areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of lower limb deformities, open and minimally invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery, using both biological reconstruction techniques and joint replacement.
He is a lecturer in the Podiatry Degree Program at the University of Milan, and has published numerous scientific papers in high-impact journals. He has also participated as a speaker and tutor at several national and international conferences.
He is an active member of the German Foot and Ankle Surgery Society (GFFC) and AGA (Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery).
