Francesca Barile

Dr. Francesca Barile is an orthopedic surgeon at the GSpine4 Unit of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio. She also collaborates with Villa Erbosa in Bologna.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2016 from the University of Bologna and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2022 at the same institution. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna. Her training took place at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, and the Schon Klinik in Munich, focusing primarily on spinal surgery.

Dr. Barile mainly deals with the conservative and surgical treatment of the main spinal pathologies, particularly disc herniation, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and scoliosis.

As part of her PhD and her work with the GSpine4 group, she focuses on the scientific study of spinal surgery, with particular attention to vertebral deformities and degenerative diseases of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.

She regularly attends national congresses in the field.
