Professor Laura Mangiavini - Orthopedic doctor of the University Group of Regenerative and Reconstructive Orthopedics (E.U.O.R.R.) of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio.
In 2007, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. In 2013, she received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology at the University of Milan Bicocca.
From 2011 to 2015, she worked in several research laboratories in the USA (Boston, Indianapolis and Ann Arbor), focusing on the development of cartilage and bones.
In 2018, she received the title of Associate Professor of the Department of Biomedical Health Sciences at the University of Milan.
Professor Mangiavini is currently responsible for the research activities of the Operational Unit E. U. O. R. R. of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio.
Deals with traumatic and degenerative pathology of the shoulder and knee, as well as treats degenerative pathologies of the hip joint.
In her research, she is interested in tissue engineering methods for the regeneration of cartilage, bones and meniscus.
