Marco Federico Manzoni

Dr. Marco Federico Manzoni heads the Functional Department of Oncological Endocrinology in the Department of Endocrinology of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Professor Andrea Giustina.

In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, where in 1998 he received a specialization in endocrinology and substitution therapy.

Dr. Manzoni's clinical activity is mainly in the field of oncological endocrinology and tumors of the endocrine glands and in the field of support for cancer patients with endocrine pathologies. Cooperates with the most important national and international hospitals for the treatment of patients suffering from endocrine-oncological pathologies, participating in various tumor councils.

From a research point of view, he is engaged in clinical research in the field of thyroid tumors and neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract - pancreas.

He is the coordinator of the ENETS Center of Excellence (European Society of Endocrine Tumors), a member of the European Neuro-Endocrine Tumor Society, the Association of Endocrinologists, the Italian Society of Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.

He is the author and co-author of more than 100 publications in industry scientific journals; he is a reviewer for some industry scientific journals.

His Hirsch index is 12. He constantly participates in national and international industry congresses.
