Carlotta Morselli
Biography
Dr. Carlotta Morselli is a neurosurgeon in the II Operating Department of Spine Surgery at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.
In 2009 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Rome La Sapienza, and in 2017 she specialized in Neurosurgery in the Department of Stereotactic Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery "gamma knife" of Vita Salute University, Ospedale San Raffaele, Milan.
During her specialized training, in 2012-2013, she deepened her interest in the field of spine surgery by completing an internship at the II Department of Operative Spine Surgery, headed by Dr. Roberto Bassani, IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.
From 2017 to 2018, she worked as a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery of the Clinical Institute, the Humanitas Research Clinical Institute in Rozzano; since 2018, she has been a postgraduate student in research in the field of "experimental clinical neuroscience and psychiatry" at the Sapienza University of Rome.
Author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals in the field of neurosurgery, clinical research and spinal pathology.
From 2018 to the present, she has been working in the II Spine Surgery Team at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.
In addition to outpatient activities, her skills include research and surgical treatment of vertebral pathologies, such as: degenerative diseases, minimally invasive accesses to the cervical and lumbar spine, post-traumatic and infectious pathology.
