Michele Boga
Biography
Dr. Michele Boga is an orthopedic traumatologist in the Department of Foot and Ankle Specialists (USPeC) of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio and works at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.
In 1986, he received a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Milan, where in 1992 he received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology.
He has a full professional education "Galeazzi", where he has been working since 1987. During his professional career, he has had the opportunity to work in the departments of spine, hip, knee, shoulder and septic surgery with some of the most significant surgeons in this field nationally and internationally.
This allowed him to gain surgical knowledge and develop flexibility from the very beginning; these skills are difficult to find in a super-specialist surgeon engaged in foot surgery.
Due to the high quality of orthopedic and traumatological surgery and a large number of operations per year (up to 2000), the practice of prosthetic surgery was improved. He has also encountered serious orthopedic and traumatological pathologies, using constantly updated methods, thanks to the extensive experience and constant commitment shown over the years.
In 2001, he became the chief assistant of the Department of Foot and Ankle Joint of the IRCCS Galeazzi, significantly increasing daily surgical activities, taking on the task of training trainees and participating in training courses, and also acted as a mentor.
In 2011, he led the CTS Foot and Ankle Group of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio, a department that in 2014 became the Department of Foot and Ankle Specialists (USPeC), coordinated by Dr. Boga.
During his career, he participated, including as a speaker, in numerous national and international congresses.
