Paola Sgaramella
Biography
Dr. Paola Sgaramella is a pediatrician-gastroenterologist in the Pediatric Department of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Dr. Graziano Barera.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan in 7/1994, she received a specialization in pediatrics at the University of Milan in 7/2000.
From a clinical point of view, Dr. Sgaramella mainly deals with gastroenterological diseases in childhood, paying special attention to gluten disease and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases.
From the point of view of scientific research, the doctor focuses on the following areas: pediatric pathology of the gastrointestinal tract.
He is the author and co-author of more than 10 scientific publications published in domestic and foreign journals. Her Hirsch Index is 1. Constantly takes part in national and international industry congresses.
