Valerio De Sanctis
Biography
Dr. Valerio De Sanctis is an electrophysiologist and head of the Cardiostimulation Section at the Department of Clinical Electrophysiology and Electrostimulation at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio directed by Dr. Massimo Mantica. He also collaborates at Palazzo della Salute in Milan.
Dr. De Sanctis graduated from the University of Naples Federico II in 2000 with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, where in 2004 he finished his residency in Cardiology.
In 2006, he attended a 2-year Master's Degree course in Electrophysiology and Electrostimulation at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy. In 2008, he participated in the world fellowship “Meet the masters” at the Institute of Therapy Advancement.
Since 2009, he was appointed head of the Cardiostimulation Section at Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio (currently merged into Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio).
Dr. De Sanctis is an expert in clinical and interventional arrhythmology and interventional electrophysiology.
