Dr. Massimiliano Dieci is a psychiatrist and Head of the Specialized Psychiatric Rehabilitation Unit at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Carate Brianza, overseeing two on-site psychiatric communities.
He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1989 and specialized with honors in Psychiatry in 1993 at the same institution.
From 1997 to 2003, he served as a Medical Director at several hospitals in the province of Milan, including the Policlinico di Milano and the civil hospitals of Legnano and Melzo.
Subsequently, he worked as an independent practitioner, focusing on patients with mood disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, borderline personality disorders, alcohol and drug-related issues, and cognitive disorders in both children and adults.
Since 2012, he has been with Istituti Clinici Zucchi, becoming Head of the Unit in 2022.
Dr. Dieci has authored over 100 scientific publications in international and national journals on topics such as brain imaging, pharmacology, healthcare service organization, and health and social issues in developing countries. He has also been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences.
From 1997 to 2004, Dr. Dieci served as Secretary of the Italian Society of Neuroimaging in Psychiatry (a special section of the Italian Society of Psychiatry).
