Dr. Alessandro Beneduce is an interventional cardiologist at the Heart Valve Center within the Cardiac Surgery Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples Federico II in 2014 and specialized in Cardiovascular Diseases at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2019, where he also obtained a Second-Level Master’s Degree in Interventional Cardiology in 2021.

From 2022 to 2024, he continued his training in France with a Structural Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse.

His clinical work is mainly focused on the diagnosis and transcatheter treatment of valvular and structural heart diseases, heart failure, and ischemic heart disease. He has expertise in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI), transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement (M/T-TEER and TMVR/TTVR), percutaneous left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure for stroke prevention, mechanical circulatory support (MCS) for cardiogenic shock, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

He plays an active role in the international scientific community as a member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), serving as an elected member of the EAPCI Young Committee from 2022 to 2024 and of the EAPCI Accreditation, Training, and Certification Committee from 2024 to 2026.

He participates as a faculty member at leading national and international Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology congresses (ESC, EuroPCR, PCR London Valves, GISE). He is the author of over 100 scientific publications with an H-index of 20. He has served on the Editorial Board of *JACC: Case Reports* and acts as a reviewer for leading scientific journals in the field.
