Dr. Amarild Cuko is the Head of Electrophysiology Macroactivity at the Brescia Hospital Group (Istituto Clinico San Rocco in OME, Istituto Clinico Sant'Anna in Brescia, and Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia). He also serves as a consultant in the Clinical Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology Unit at Policlinico San Donato in Milan.
After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2006 from the University of Milan, he completed his specialization in Cardiology in 2012 at the "Magna Graecia" University of Catanzaro.
Dr. Cuko's professional focus is on arrhythmology and electrophysiology, with particular emphasis on clinical diagnostics and interventional procedures for patients with cardiac rhythm disorders. As an interventional cardiologist, he excels in performing invasive electrophysiological studies and catheter-based ablation techniques for various cardiac arrhythmias.
He has significant expertise in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, cardioverter-defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization systems, as well as in ECG monitoring systems such as Loop Recorders. His research efforts concentrate on studying arrhythmias and advanced cardiac device implantation techniques, with contributions to numerous international scientific journals.
Dr. Cuko is a member of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists (ANMCO), the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC), and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).
