Dr. Francesca Rita Ogliari is a medical oncologist at the Oncology Medicine Unit and Oncology Day Hospital of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Stefano Cascinu, within the thoracic pathology and melanoma group.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2014, she specialized in Medical Oncology at the University of Pavia in 2020.
Since November 2022, she has been enrolled in a PhD program at UniSR, focusing on artificial intelligence and predictive algorithms in lung cancer pathology.
Dr. Ogliari's main area of interest is centered on lung tumors and rarer thoracic neoplasms (mesothelioma, thymic neoplasms). She conducts outpatient activities and clinical work in the inpatient setting during her on-call shifts in the oncology department.
She is a sub-investigator in over 20 active clinical trials at San Raffaele Hospital and participates weekly in the multidisciplinary meetings of the Lung Unit.
Since 2020, she has been involved in artificial intelligence projects in medicine, with a particular focus on developing intra-hospital technologies for data extraction and storage, as well as predictive algorithms for lung neoplasms.
