Andrea Dolcino
Biography
Dr. Andrea Dolcino is an anesthesiologist and intensivist at the Department of Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa in 2010. In 2017, he completed his specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care at the University of Genoa.
After his specialization, Dr. Dolcino worked for 6 years in Paris at Hôpital Necker, where he served for 2 years as Chef de Clinique des Universités - Assistant des Hôpitaux in the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia - Resuscitation Service.
Dr. Dolcino has developed a strong interest and proven expertise in:
- Extracorporeal circulation
- Cardioplegia
- Circulatory support (ECMO - Berlin Heart)
- Heart transplantation
In 2020, he obtained a Master's Degree in “Thrombosis and Hemostasis” from the University of Florence.
In 2022, he achieved a European diploma in ECMO and other respiratory and circulatory support techniques from Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris.
Dr. Dolcino is an expert in anesthesia and resuscitation in Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery.
