Antonio Brando
Biography
Dr. Antonio Brando is an orthopedic specialist in the Hand Surgery Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio and Casa di Cura La Madonnina.
He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of “Magna Graecia” in Catanzaro in 2004 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university in 2010. In 2021, he completed a Level II Master’s degree in Healthcare and Social Assistance Administration at SDA Bocconi.
From the beginning of his specialization, Dr. Brando developed a strong passion for hand and upper limb surgery, focusing on the intricate study of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. In 2016, he obtained a diploma in Microsurgical Techniques from the Italian Society for Hand Surgery at Cardarelli Hospital in Naples.
Throughout his career, Dr. Brando has served as an Orthopedic and Trauma Consultant in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery at:

Dr. Brando specializes in the conservative and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, having performed over 5,000 surgeries in recent years.
His main areas of expertise include traumatic injuries, nerve and tendon disorders, osteoarticular and capsuloligamentous pathologies, Dupuytren's disease, and revision surgeries to correct outcomes of prior procedures.
He performs both traditional and minimally invasive procedures, utilizing arthroscopic, endoscopic, and ultrasound-guided techniques, being one of the pioneers of ultrasound-guided approaches in Europe since 2012.
Dr. Brando is an active member of:
