Augusto Dagnino
Biography
Dr. Augusto Dagnino is the orthopedist and Head of the Orthopedic Department I at the Clinical Research Institute Policlinico San Donato.
In 2001, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Pavia, where he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2008. In 2016, he studied under the Master’s program Minimally Invasive Hip Surgery at the University Hospital Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico.
During his studies, Dr. Dagnino worked at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas, where he began to deal with hip and knee prosthetics with a group of Professor Spotorno. Subsequently, he carried out his clinical activities at the Casa di Cura San Camillo Clinic in Forte dei Marmi, Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi Institutes (with Dr. Ursino), Istituto Clinico Città Studi, Istituto Clinico San Siro and Humanitas San Pio X Clinic.
Since January 2020, he has been the Head of the Orthopedic Department I at the Research Clinical Institute Policlinico San Donato, where he deals with prosthetics of the hip and knee joints, from the first installation to the check-up. She pays special attention to minimally invasive methods of treating the hip joint.
