Chiara Zanetta
Biography
Dr. Chiara Zanetta is a neurologist at the Neurology Unit and Multiple Sclerosis Center of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Prof. Massimo Filippi.
In 2013, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, and in 2018, she specialized in Neurology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
Between 2010 and 2014, she spent time at the Department of Anesthesiology, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, as a "visiting researcher," contributing to studies evaluating the impact of anesthetic drugs on various brain regions.
Her primary area of interest is Multiple Sclerosis and inflammatory diseases of the Central Nervous System, a field she has focused on since her specialization thesis and continues to prioritize in both her research and clinical work.
Dr. Zanetta is currently involved in several national and international studies on the epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutic aspects of patients affected by Multiple Sclerosis and inflammatory diseases of the Central Nervous System, such as neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders and MOG antibody-associated diseases.
