Claudio Losio

Dr. Claudio Losio is a radiologist at the Breast Radiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Dr. Pietro Panizza.

After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, he specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the same institution, subsequently developing expertise in breast imaging.

Dr. Losio performs diagnostic imaging in breast pathology using all methods, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI for diagnostics, as well as interventional techniques such as core biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and pre-operative localizations. He also provides mammographic and ultrasound diagnostics at the Punto Raf in Via Respighi.

He focuses on multi-modal imaging of breast cancer, both in clinical practice and screening. Additionally, he performs interventional breast radiology.

Dr. Losio is a contract professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, teaching Breast Imaging in both Italian and English for the Medicine and Surgery and MD Programs.
