Emanuel Cavazzoni
Biography
Prof. Emanuel Cavazzoni is a general surgeon and colorectal specialist at Casa di Cura la Madonnina and IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio. He specializes in anorectal and pelvic floor diagnosis, sexually transmitted diseases, and screening and treatment of anal cancer.
He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Perugia in 1998, followed by a specialization in General Surgery in 2004 and a PhD in Translational Surgery in 2007, all from the same institution.
From 2005 to 2008, he served as a Level I Medical Officer at the Perugia Hospital. From 2008 to 2016, he worked as a Level I Medical Officer in the General and Emergency Surgery Unit at Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital.
Since 2008, Prof. Cavazzoni has been a Confirmed University Researcher in the Department of Surgical Sciences, within the Gastroenterology Section at the University of Perugia.
