Giuseppe Ancona

Dr. Giuseppe Ancona is a diabetologist-endocrinologist at the Diabetes Clinics of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Emanuele Bosi.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma in 2016, he completed his specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the University of Pavia in 2021. He also obtained a diploma in internal ultrasound from SiUMB at the School of Pavia. In 2023, he earned a Master's degree in "Multidisciplinary Approach to Eating Disorders and Obesity" from Unitelma Sapienza.

Currently, Dr. Ancona performs outpatient work in the Cardiometabolism unit and clinical trials, focusing primarily on type 2 diabetes and its complications, dyslipidemia, obesity, and thyroid disorders.

He is a member of the Italian Society of Diabetology and the Italian Society of Obesity, and actively participates in sector-specific congresses and continuing education courses.
