Massimo Slavich
Biography
Dr Massimo Slavich is a cardiologist at the Clinical Cardiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele directed by Professor Alberto Margonato.
In 2007, graduates in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. In 2012, obtains specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases at the same university. In 2013, he moves to London and completes fellowship in Echocardiography at The Heart Hospital, University College London (UK).
From the clinical point of view, after a long experience in coronary intensive care, Dr. Slavich is currently engaged mainly in the management of patients hospitalized in ordinary cardiology inpatient ward, and in performing outpatient cardiology examinations and consultations at the floors. The doctor has a specific interest in the management of patients with ischemic heart disease, valve pathologies, arrhythmias and hypertensive heart disease.
Finally, the doctor performs cardiological examinations, stress tests, resting and stress echocardiograms (stress echo).
As far as research is concerned, Dr. Slavich is very active and focuses his activity, in particular, on ischemic heart disease, heart failure and cardiological imaging.
He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in national and international scientific journals, as well as book chapters. He regularly participates as a speaker at national and international scientific conferences in his field.
