Samuele Pizzocri

Dr. Samuele Pizzocri is a cardiologist of the Clinical and Interventional Cardiology and Coronary Intensive Care Units (CICU) of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, directed by Dr. Francesco Bedogni.

In 2004, he graduates in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, and in 2008 he obtains specialization in Cardiology. In 2011, he attends the Master of II Level in Haemodynamics and Interventional Coronary Heart Disease at the University of Insubria.

During his training, he attends the Center of Clinical Physiology and Hypertension of the Policlinico di Milano, the Cardiological Rehabilitation Department of the Milan Institutes Martinitt e Stelline and Pio Albergo Trivulzio and the Interventional Cardiology Unit of the cardiology center Monzino. He has also worked at the Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio, at the Haemodynamics and Cardiovascular Radiology Cardiology unit headed by Dr. Francesco Bedogni.

At Policlinico San Donato, Dr. Pizzocri is the head of the Department of Clinical Cardiology and medical operator in the hemodynamics room. He carries out clinical-assistance activities in Coronary Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology Department and Emergency Room. He deals with non-invasive diagnostic activities: transthoracic echocardiography, ergometric testing, Holter ECG, blood pressure monitoring, ecoDoppler TSA. He also performs interventions in the hemodynamic room:

• coronary and peripheral vascular diagnostics

• coronary and peripheral angioplasty
